For Age of Conan I think ive narrowed it down to two classes. The Dark Templar and the Conqueror. I see that they both dont deal the most damage but at the same time they dont die easily. Im just looking for some insight from other people who plan on playing the game or are rolling those classes.

TBH, I do not think there is any warrior/rogue class that dies easily and doesn't do a lot of damage.  It just depends on what kind of style you want to go with.  Both are fun classes however, only the Conqueror can dual wield out of all the warrior classes.

I have not played any class besides a Barbarian, and each level that I gain the woop ass just seems to be getting better. At level 16, I could easily solo 3 lvl 18's at the same time. I would like to try tanking classes, but I will wait till later. As I tanked in Wow and it wore me out.

Guardian seems pretty much the same , takes alota punishment to knock one down.

i recently made a priest of mitra .. and woo are they nasty !!

soon as you get the aoe knockdown they Hurt :)

I have both a DT a nd a Conq. Both classes are fun, but the play style is different. Both are difficult to kill, however the DT is a bit harder to kill do to his lifetaps. DT's can only use 1h weapon though, so their DPS is much lower than the Conq. The Conq has the highest DPS of any of the warrior classes, but it a little more squishy than the DT. DT's do get lifedrain abilities, but they don't do as much damage as they would if DT's could use 2h weapons. Conq's also get a combat rez which is nice for groups/raids. Both are fun classes, but the Conq has the slight edge in PVP due to the low DPS of the DT. DT's have the edge in PVE and are possible the best Tanks in the game at this point.
