HighGuard is a Australian (Oceanic) raiding guild focusing on end game content on a PvE(normal) server. Whilst not hardcore, it is a guild for the serious casual but committed player. HighGuard members will not be expected to live online, but they will be expected to contribute to the greater guild in a generous way. HighGuard will be a progression guild and tackle end game content at a respectable rate without compromising our real lives.

We'll be working towards a marvelous guild city and be mercenaries for hire for PvP and BattleKeep/Siege warfare.

Guild Charter
HighGuard is a guild of active, mature players who are devoted to working together and enjoying the game. It is a new guild formed from a small number of experienced MMOG players who have grown tired of WOW, EQ1/2, Vanguard and who have decided to make AoC their new home.

We are based in “The Land Down Under” and are predominately Australian but we have players from US and Asia Pacific who are suited to our time zone (GMT +10) and Aussie humour.

We are after like-minded, experienced players who are looking for friendships, challenges and are committed to the guild and it’s fellow members. HighGuard won’t be one of those guilds rushing to max level because we believe in enjoying the ride and want to experience all of what AoC has to offer. Our motto:

We don’t have a minimum game-time, but do require our members to be active because we hope you’ll just enjoy logging in and catching up with guildies.

HighGuard will never be the largest guild on the server as we are selective on who we recruit. We prefer quality, dedication and loyalty over any Joe Bloe. We aren’t after members who are loot hungry, have attitudes or ego’s, guild hop or think “Ub3r D00Z” substitutes for valid conversation.

We have a 18+ policy and desire members who are after a guild family, the opportunity to support one another and have a sense of fun.

HighGuard is a end-game guild but we aren’t what you’d call die-hard. Many of the guild members have families, work full time or have a life outside of AoC.

The leadership of the guild is governed by the Guild Master and Council of Elders. The Council of Elders is a “Round Table” in the sense each of them including the GM has an equal vote and say on all guild matters and direction. The Council of Elders gain no special privileges on loot, rewards or raid spots. They are there to serve the guild, lead them and resolve guild issues.
