Well I started gathering the basic items a few days ago (Sandstone, Copper, Silver, Wool, Rough Leather, Ash wood) by picking up the quests in Purple Lotus Marsh.  I finished two of them pretty quickly (Sandstone, and Copper) and did the turn-in.  I was then given a follow on quest to do "advanced" gathering of these resources in hopes of honing my skill at gathering them.  It is this second part of gathering quest that is giving me the problems.  I was asked to get Quarts and Tin from the Sandstone and Copper nodes.  I have gathered about 50 additional of each and have not been able to gather these "advanced" items the quest is asking for. 

Anyone know how to get them?  I have a few ideas but they mainly involve me needing to be in a higher lvl zone, the items not in game yet, and/or the drop rate sucks and I just have to keep trying.
